Lung disease is the third leading cause of death and the number one
killer of infants under one year of age. The American Lung Association
of Tennessee® has information on some of the most prevalent diseases.

Over 353,302 adults and over 118,531 children in Tennessee suffer from asthma, a chronic disease which makes it difficult to breathe and can kill. We offer information that will help asthma sufferers to manage their disease so that it does not interfere with their lives.
